Katye Maxson Landis, CPA
Chief Operating Officer
Katye received her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential in 2011, after working in the salt mines of public accounting for seven years as an auditor and staff accountant. Prior to that, she worked as a bookkeeper and business administrator for thirteen years. Katye’s greatest strengths are her experience and perspective; she can relate not only to her clients’ managerial challenges, but also to those of their staff on the front lines and back rooms of retail and bookkeeping. A champion of fiscal literacy and best practices for the cannabis industry, she brings over twenty years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative solutions for small businesses with a variety of structures.
As the Lead Educator for The Moxy Accountant (hyperlink), she has led workshops hosted by the National Accounting and Finance Show, Oregon and Washington State Society of CPAs, and the Western CPE in Montana. Katye’s clients and colleagues appreciate her blend of humorous irreverence, professional inquisitiveness, and intellectual skepticism for just about everything. Both inside and outside of the office, Katye is a co-parent, spouse, educator, mentor, ally, advisor, and friend.

Kayleigh Dinofrio
A/R Specialist & Administrative Assistant
Kayleigh started her accounting career (unbeknownst to her) as a bartender, helping intoxicated patrons do the complicated math of splitting checks while making sure it all totaled up correctly. From there it was a natural jump to junior bookkeeping, billing specialist, and client onboarding specialist. While Kayleigh confesses that she fell into accounting, it was a happy surprise just how much she enjoys bookkeeping and thrives during 1099 season. Kayleigh has the special ability to deal with both people and data, skills she has honed in her early career roles in administration and client services.
When not managing the people and the things at work, Kayleigh likes to spend time with her cat, Coriander, and get outdoors into nature. She’s a bit of a Portland foody, and enjoys riding her bike, listening to music, and going to concerts.

Valerie Kunzelmann
Executive Assistant
Originally from Germany, Valerie moved to Southern California when she was 5 years old. She graduated from California State University Channel Islands in 2018 with two degrees-English Education and History. She loves maintaining internal organization and client communications. This has led Valerie to have several jobs in costumer-service and client-relations roles, which is where she has found her true passion.
In her mid-twenties, she relocated to Portland, Oregon. Though she grew up with constant sunshine, she has enjoyed transitioning into a climate that has four seasons and cooler weather.
When she’s not at work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her blue-nose pit bull Hannah. She often takes time to go out in nature with Hannah, hike, and explore parts of Portland.

Alissa Macias
Staff Accountant
Alissa is an avid cannabis-endorser, serial organizer, and Food Network lover – in that order. With years of public-accounting administrative experience under her belt, she was delighted (and shocked) to discover a yearning for more accounting and tax knowledge so she decided to pursue a degree in accounting. Finding deep satisfaction in meeting deadline-oriented pressures, Alissa is working toward her goal of becoming a CPA while being the firm’s operational guru! She also supports the administrative team, partners and the overall growth of the firm. Alissa is an advocate for the decriminalization of cannabis and is thrilled to be a part of the canna-movement.
